Job description
Position Description:
As an IT Security Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our client within the automotive sector by ensuring robust server, network, and security management. Reporting to the Team Lead and Service Manager, you will work in a dynamic, hybrid environment to enhance the security posture of a large-scale project. You will address security vulnerabilities, maintain and improve security tools, and ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Proactively managing vulnerabilities and implementing remediations using tools such as Tenable or similar solutions.
• Analyzing and managing CERT advisories to address potential threats.
• Maintaining and remediating antivirus tools (e.g., Trellix, ESET, or comparable tools).
• Assisting in creating and maintaining SIEM use cases (e.g., Qradar or other SIEM platforms).
• Managing and securing Windows, Active Directory, and Unix systems.
• Applying and ensuring compliance with Information Security policies and standards.
• Delivering on time in a fast-paced and complex environment.
• Ensuring a seamless process flow across IT processes, logging, monitoring, application interfaces, and network connectivity.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Proficiency or experience in some of the following areas:
• Vulnerability management tools (e.g., Tenable or similar).
• SIEM platforms (e.g., Qradar or equivalent).
• Antivirus tools (e.g., Trellix, ESET) or comparable solutions.
• Windows, Active Directory, and Unix environments.
• Detection tools (e.g. Plant Anomaly Detection, CheckPoint / TippingPoint IPS, FlowMon or similar
• Strong understanding of IT processes and security standards.
• A willingness and ability to learn new tools and technologies as needed.

• Strong communication skills with fluent English (spoken and written).
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Team-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate and negotiate effectively.
• Proactive learner, adaptable to new technologies, processes, and skills.
