Position Description:
The Marketing & Communications Consultant is based in the Philippines and will be primarily responsible for supporting the Marketing and Communications Manager in implementing the end-to-end marketing and communications plans. The ideal candidate must have 2-4 years of relevant experience, be a self-starter, and have superior English writing and editing skills.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Consultant will be responsible for supporting the Manager in developing content for the following categories:
• Writing Marketing and Communications content for the intranet, CGI.com, presentations, MS Teams, social media content for, Facebook and LinkedIn, recurring newsletters, email campaign content, marketing collateral for brochures and flyers, and audio and video content
• Business writing for memos and emails for CGI’s Business Units and Corporate Services
• Copywriting for online and print banners that are catchy and attractive
• Feature writing for campaigns which may include employee-related articles or newsletters
• Copyediting content which includes the above and other collateral for digital or print media
• Publishing content on the intranet and related channels.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
EDUCATION, SKILLS, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
• A degree in Organizational Communication, Integrated Marketing & Communications, or a related field
• With two to four years of experience in the field of Corporate Communications, Marketing, and related fields
• Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge in AI applications that support copywriting primarily Grammarly, ChatGPT, etc.
• Basic knowledge of the design functions of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Keen eye for detail and a strong sense of commitment to deadlines.
• Background in branding, graphic, and layout design is an advantage
