Position Description:

As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll support end-to-end Client and vendor support as a subject matter expert in both business and technology. You’ll ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create and set up flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Understanding and Documenting Requirements:

Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements.

Facilitate solution design discussions to ensure project needs are met.

Build strong relationships, lead discussions, and ask the right questions to ensure solutions align with requirements.

Solution Design:

Develop client-focused solutions that meet business requirements.

Prepare and validate solution design documents covering scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.

Leading and Mentoring:

Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert.

Provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals.

Maintain a collaborative work environment and assist team members in resolving organizational, operational, and process issues.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Who You Are:

You have 1-2 years of experience as a Business Systems Consultant/Analyst, preferably in the Financial Services industry (ideally Capital Markets), with a focus on stakeholder relationship management.

You are proficient with SQL/Database queries, Azure DevOps, and have experience supporting Agile/Scrum-based projects.

You possess excellent documentation skills, a collaborative mindset, and the flexibility to support testing as needed.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Additional Qualification

• Graduate of Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field
• Communication skills: excellent communication skills, to be able to facilitate meetings, take down minutes, respond to emails from our mailbox
• PMO experience; attention to details; experienced is preferred, technology environment
• Leadership skills, takes initiative, a self-starter, and a problem solver, critical thinking
• Time Management; to be able to deal with a lot of volumes.
• Organization skills: highly organized, to manage different priorities and follow up on outstanding issues.
• Excel/PowerPoint: to prepare estimates/reports. Working knowledge of Excel/PowerPoint (don't need any advanced skills)
• JIRA experience is a plus
• Proven record of improvements initiated in current project
• Willingness to work on night shift (Canada business hours).
