Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Budget Analyst to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client in Huntsville, AL. The selected individual will provide financial management support for the preparation, planning, and execution of funding and expertise in the designated systems to manage funds to meet client requirements for an Army hypersonic rockets and missiles program.

This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Provide financial management support for the preparation, planning, and execution of funding for hypersonic rockets and missiles programs.
Utilize expertise in designated systems to manage funds and ensure alignment with client requirements.
Support the Planning Programming Budget and Execution (PPBE) requirements of the Program Office (PO), including preparing materials associated with Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Spend Plan Analysis Report (SPAR), and budget requirements.
Support all requirements associated with executing funds, including creating spend plans, monitoring actual execution to plan, preparing execution reports, and recommending changes to the plan.
Maintain and provide programmatic and subject matter expertise used to manage, execute, and report general funds and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) data in web-based budget and financial applications.
Perform all functional duties independently

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

3+ years of experience in financial management, budget analysis, or a related field.
BA/BS or MA/MS degree in a relevant discipline.
Strong knowledge of financial management principles, including budget preparation, planning, and execution.
Experience with the Planning Programming Budget and Execution (PPBE) process.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Familiarity with DoD financial management systems and requirements.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69,700.00 - $154,300.00.
