Job Purpose
Support the team in all aspects of portfolio management duties with a particular focus on implementation of investment strategies, positions and risks monitoring as well as communication with external and internal stakeholders.
An important part of the role will be to coordinate with support functions to ensure data accuracy. As we aim to continue to industrialize the team’s investment process, the ideal candidate should demonstrate an ability to contribute to ESG & data initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
Portfolio Management
- Contribute to daily monitoring of portfolios & exposures, coordinate with support functions in order to quickly solve any potential middle / back or data issues
- Proactively contribute to daily Check-in & out calls to fine tune portfolio positioning
- Coordinate and monitor execution with the trading desk
Financial & Extra-financial development
- Contribute to the development of risk analytics, visualisation tools and automation processes with a goal of improving the scalability of portfolio management
- Support the team in engaging Sovereign & SSA issuers on ESG topics
- Contribute to building innovative ESG solutions for sovereign & inflation portfolios
Reporting & business development
- Contribute to the reporting validation process and write portfolio management comments
- Support Product Specialists to answer to Sales / Client requests including RFPs
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Role Requirements
Education/Qualifications
· Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Finance or Engineering
· AMF certification, CFA / other technical qualifications a plus
· Experience
· A first experience (internship, fixed term contract) within a Fixed Income team is expected
Knowledge and Skills
· Excellent knowledge of Fixed Income instruments and markets
· Proficiency in Office, VBA, Tableau, Python and Bloomberg
· Good understanding of portfolio construction, allocation strategies
· Well-developed marketing, presentational and relations skills.
