Il assure le pilotage et le support des filiales dans le monde, afin de garantir notamment la coordination et le suivi de la stratégie globale d’AXA, l’application de ses standards, la cohérence des approches commerciales, et le partage des meilleures pratiques.

Within the Group, you will join the Group Risk Management which develops the risk framework in terms of limits/thresholds (financial, insurance and operational risks), standards, minimum requirements or processes, and oversees the operating entities’ adherence to the framework, supported by the local risk management teams. Risk management is coordinating the second line of defense.
Within the Group Risk Management family, you will be part of the Group Internal Control and Operational Risk team which is responsible for providing reasonable assurance regarding the achievement of objectives relating to operations, reporting, and compliance.
The internal control framework is covering a wide diversity of business areas and related risks with the objective to maintain risks within agreed risk tolerance and reduce operational losses. Each year, risk and control teams through the whole group are dealing with the reporting and management of 20000 controls, 2500 operational incidents and control failures representing €100M to €300M loss impact.
Within this Department, the Group Internal Financial Control (IFC) team is composed of three teams respectively in charge of Solvency 2, IFRS and Sustainability Reporting control programs. These teams are currently based in Paris (France) and Pune (India), and aim to extend to Madrid to create synergies with the GIE AXA teams based in Spain - namely the Internal Model Review (IMR) team, in charge of in-depth actuarial review of the Internal Model.
Your job and daily missions:
Core Activities:

<-- [if supportLists]-->o <--[endif]-->Actively contribute to the IFC SII program Management for scoping, timelines, instructions, reporting.
<-- [if supportLists]-->o <--[endif]-->Take part in the review and improvement of the existing control framework (Risk and Control Libraries), supporting the teams in charge of the different risk modules (Risk Management teams for the STEC, PBRC Actuarial team for the EOF, PBRC Consolidation team for Pillar III)
<-- [if supportLists]-->o <--[endif]-->Contribute to the redaction of the different IFC SII reports and synthesis and participate to the post campaign analysis
<-- [if supportLists]-->o <--[endif]-->Ensure the ‘Liaison Manager’ or 'Program Expert' role of the entities assigned and develop synergies within the team for the transversal topics. Monitor some entities programs and particularly follow-up the deficiencies remediation (notably for the deficiencies coming from prior years). Support the assigned entities requiring some help in the final stage of their testing, conclusions, projects….

<-- [if supportLists]-->o <--[endif]-->Participate to the independent testing of processes and controls (including IT General Controls and EUCs) in scope annually and before the numbers are released, for the Group Support Functions (GRM and PRBC Actuarial)

<-- [if supportLists]-->o <--[endif]-->Contribute to the analysis of the Group Support Functions IFC SII results and conclusions.

<-- [if supportLists]-->o <--[endif]-->Develop a reinforced approach to improve the capacity to remedy the deficiencies identified and enhance the data quality (identify cross-cutting issues, promote solutions, etc.). Solicit Process Owners.

<-- [if supportLists]-->o <--[endif]-->Participate and organize communication actions to raise IFC awareness within the Group (e.g. IC/IFC conference, IC guideline, IFC induction course) and facilitate IFC projects

<-- [if supportLists]-->o <--[endif]-->Support the manager of the team to manage the IFC team based in India, leading IFC work on behalf of AXA Group (defining the testing strategy, following up the testing progress, process and controls transfers…)
<-- [if supportLists]-->o <--[endif]-->Contribute to the relationship with the service providers (AXA GOBO & AXA GO: Budget, scoping agreement validation, SAS report review); work closely with them to ensure reporting quality and timeliness

Technical and professional skills
§ Good understanding of the insurance business (organization, risks, processes and financial reporting) ; for internal candidates, some knowledge on the Internal Model would be a plus;
§ Good knowledge on Solvency 2 regulation ;
§ At least 3 years of experience in Control function (Audit, Risk Management, Internal Control), preferably in Insurance or Financial Services ;
§ Experience in international and transversal project management ;
§ Effective communication and writing in English (including conference meetings, presentation, reports, guidance, standards). French is a plus.
Interpersonal skills
§ The person must be able to work in an international environment, with a great number of interlocutors ;
§ He/she needs to have very strong relationship intelligence, to reach its objectives while maintaining an effective level of communication with his/her interlocutors;
§ He/she must be reliable, proactive, flexible and curious;
§ He/she must be result-oriented, able to anticipate and timely solve problems;
§ Team spirit is a must, as well as positive mind-set.
