Job Purpose

The Team provides market research on new trends, leads on innovation management and is transversally responsible for the management of strategic initiatives which have a transformational or structural impact on AXA IM.

Key Accountabilities

• Contribute to identified innovation initiatives mainly driven by new tech trends which have a transformational or structural impact on AXA IM
• Perform market watch and research within the asset management industry and its ecosystem to identify new trends, new services, evolutions in general and opportunities & feed strategic and operational Teams with possible future models
• Connect AXA IM to FinTechs and other external actors to generate new initiatives/be part of major working groups/consortium.
• Bring impactful ideas and build in collaboration with the Team the design of our Innovation Strategy and new operating models in close collaboration with the relevant AXA and AXA IM Teams
• Influence the acceleration of AXA IM’s innovation journey: maintain an understanding of the impact of Blockchain, Decentralised Finance (DeFi) & AI on financial markets, develop and promote working knowledge of Blockchain & AI, collaborate with internal partners to design experiments, report on progress
• Contribute to the AI Governance (AI Risk Committee, AI Council, Gen AI Hub, AI Lab)
• Represent AXA IM in various working groups & industry’s initiatives contribuing to the evolution of our ecosystem on Blockchain & AI topics, conveying AXA IM’s convictions and needs, while influencing the direction taken by these groups to bring concrete benefits to the company
• Animate internal innovation communities and participate to direct knowledge sharing to teams through training, dedicated presentations or events.
• Contribute to Compliance, Legal and Risk works

Qualifications :

Qualifications and Competencies

Education/ Qualifications

·  Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related subject
·  Blockchain certificate is a plus

Experience

·  Proven experience in relevant field

Knowledge and Skill s

·  Appetite for managing multi-national/functional projects
·  Knowledge of financial and operational principles of an asset management company (including regulation)
·  Understanding of blockchain technology, DLT, DeFi, AI/GenAI
·  Knowledge in programming is a plus
·  Interest in legal and regulatory subjects
·  Ability to develop forward thinking solutions
·  Fluent in English and local language (if not English)
·  Interpersonal skills to network
