Your Mission:
As a HR Business Partner, you will be the trusted advisor to managers and directors, guiding them in navigating HR complexities and helping our teams thrive. You will have a chance to shape a positive, productive work environment by managing key aspects such as absenteeism, performance management, and return-to-work processes. Your deep knowledge of Belgian social legislation will be a crucial asset as you address complex situations with empathy and professionalism.
You will be empowered to take ownership of the HR strategy for a diverse, operational workforce, working with frontliners on a daily basis. Your role will be essential in helping our teams stay motivated, healthy, and productive while fostering a positive company culture.
What You'll Do:
- Be the go-to HR expert for operational teams, providing guidance and support to both frontliners and managers.
- Partner with managers to handle sensitive situations with care, such as warnings, absenteeism, performance management, and return-to-work processes.
- Create and implement action plans to improve performance and engagement across teams.
- Foster strong, open relationships with unions, managing negotiations with respect and transparency.
- Lead and manage challenging conversations with empathy, offering constructive feedback, handling terminations.
- Develop presentations to raise awareness and inform stakeholders about HR initiatives and legal matters.
- Bring your passion for HR to the table every day, helping to build a supportive and inclusive workplace for all.

What We’re Looking For:
· A solid understanding of Belgian social legislation, with practical experience in managing operational teams working in shifts.
· Experience supporting frontliner employees and handling the unique challenges of a shift-based workforce.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in working with unions.
· Fluency in French, Dutch, and English, both written and spoken.
· Strong performance management expertise and the ability to drive change through action plans.
· Empathy, active listening, and the ability to manage difficult conversations with confidence and care.
· Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to bring innovative solutions to the table.
· A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to stay organized and manage competing priorities with ease.
