The headquarters of the AXA Group (GIE AXA) brings together our corporate activities. It provides guidance and support to subsidiaries around the world, to ensure the coordination and monitoring of the Group's global strategy, the application of its standards, the consistency of commercial approaches and the sharing of best practices. The headquarters gathers approximately 1000 employees and is distinguished by its strong international culture (45 nationalities), which makes it a rich and stimulating place to work.
Within the Group, you will join the Finance department. This department is dedicated to preparing, analyzing and commenting on the financial information that is delivered to Group Management (Group CEO, Group CFO and Group Board) and to external parties (shareholders, analysts, auditors and supervisors). This department is under the control of AXA Group CFO.
Within this Department, you will be part of the The Group Financial Controlling team, called “PBRC” (Planning, Budget, Results, Central) and is based in two locations, Paris & Madrid. PBRC is the owner of many major Finance processes at Group level and responsible for the analysis and monitoring of IFRS and Solvency 2 actual accounts and forecast analyses, and for the production of the Group annual report, including the MD&A, Financial Supplement and Financial Statements. PBRC is also in charge of reassessing the relevance and content of financial indicators, setting new KPIs when necessary, and leading the “PBR” family within the Group.
Within the PBRC Department, the PBRC Actuarial Financial reporting team is notably in charge of:
- Solvency II
- Producing the Solvency II Own Funds report published on axa.com website for investors. This report is a pillar of financial communication.
- Forecasting Solvency II trajectory and produce quarterly Solvency II disclosures.
- Contributing to AXA’s ORSA report, AXA’s SFCR and AXA’s RSR
- Contributing to M&A activities and other capital management related to Solvency II Capital.
- Regulatory and lobbying activities
- Updating Solvency II methodological frameworks. The team oversees 4 methodological manuals on Solvency II valuations that are shared with local entities. In addition, the team trains new employees within the GIE and entities during training seminars.
- Solvency II revision, EIOPA financial and Climatic stress tests
- CFO, CRO forum task forces. Contribute to the ICS.
- Animation of the Financial Actuarial family
- Organization of the PBRC Actuarial forum. This forum is a place for exchanges with the entities to improve and share best practices between entities
- Leading quarterly Solvency II and IFRS17 Model & Assumptions changes meetings and presenting major ones to the Group CFO and CRO during the Solvency II committee.
- Transversal actuarial análisis

Qualifications :
What you’ll need to succeed in this role :
Technical and professional skills :
· Knowledge in Solvency 2 and/or IFRS disclosures Ability to understand different reporting frameworks in insurance
· Visionary in terms of technological and operational solutions
Soft skills and competencies :
· Good communication skills to maintain good relationship with the various stakeholders and influence in decision making to reach project / team objectives
· Ability to work in a multicultural environment with stakeholders of very different backgrounds (eg. business, IT) and countries
· Analytical mindset

Profession and educational background
Professional experience :
· Preferably 2-5+ yrs of successful experience in Solvency 2/IFRS disclosures/reporting areas or in financial consulting with insurance topics
Academic background :
· Master degree in Actuarial, Finance, Economics or in Business Administration
