What you do
- Transform & enrich data from various data sources to draw a holistic view of service health, possible issues & weak points.
- Using statistical libraries and programming to identify, analyse, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets.
- Respond to data-related queries from other WPS product teams & implement them jointly.
- Analyze data and visualize results using Power BI and similar technologies.
- Research new ways to make use of the collected data (e.g., apply AI for pattern recognition).
- Produce reports and charts communicating trends within data to non-specialists..
- Support product teams for the root cause & impact analysis during incident and problem management process.
- Ideate data analytics requirements together with other WPS teams with various maturity in the data analytics area.
What you bring
- At least 3 years of practical experience within data analytics with hands on experience with python.
- Good understanding of modern software design and development technologies, such as data lake, containers, DevOps and knowledge of cloud services such as Azure, AWS or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Technical expertise, previous experience working with data models, data mining, prediction models, and segmentation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with data storage (SQL, cloud storage etc), programming (python, SQL, PySpark etc.) and BI tools (Power BI etc.).
- Strong knowledge of statistics and applying statistical packages for analysing datasets.
- Good interpersonal and collaboration skills as well as ability to jointly work with multiple groups.
- Hands on experience in creating and deploying analytical dashboard solutions including understanding of design, development, deployment, data engineering and data management practices.
- Higher education degree in IT, business intelligence, or comparable education.
