As a Senior Business Analyst, you will act as front office support for Traders and Portfolio Managers concerning all system- and process-related tasks. In addition, you will take care of stakeholder management with internal counterparts as well as with external system and service providers, with the potential to prospectively lead the AP Investment Services team with presence in three locations, i.e. Hong Kong, Singapore, and Jakarta.

This position will be based in our Hong Kong Office.

What you will do

• Support AllianzGI’s Investment Services team concerning the administration of the Bloomberg Asset & Investment Manager (AIM) system
• Spot opportunities for AI to improve processes
• Experienced with the key functionalities of Bloomberg AIM, i.e. TSOX, EMSX, MFTX, BDS, OMX, PM, CMGR, VMGR, CUTS, LEIA, SSI, OMSA; ideally also with PORT, PRTU, and JMGR
• Ensure daily business-as-usual (BAU) support as a Bloomberg AIM Administrator
• Ability to change FIRM settings as all Bloomberg Admins have the right to change those; great care should be taken when updating these settings as they can impact the trade workflow
• Ideally also experienced with S&P thinkFolio front office system and MSCI BarraOne risk analytics

What you bring

Required:

• University degree in Computer Science/Math/Science/Engineering or related field of studies
• Proven work experience as a Bloomberg AIM Admin in the financial industry
• Investment process and financial instruments knowledge as well as previous exposure to portfolio managers, traders or risk analysts
• Affinity to investment data, especially transaction data related to trading

Preferred:

• First managerial experience
• Understanding of data models and SQL knowledge
• Familiarity with trading platforms such as TradeWeb, MarketAxess, FX Connect, FXGO, etc.
• Previous experience with S&P thinkFolio
• Experience with Generative AI
