Job description

The role of a Project / Transformation Manager is pivotal in driving the success of project portfolio initiatives within Allianz Technology on behalf of our customers. This position entails orchestrating various units across Allianz Technology, working with the customer teams while following ITSOA governance principles and tooling.   As a Transformation Manager, you will lead and steer various programs and projects, manage the entire project pipeline in alignment with Account Management, IT functions, RITO and maintain effective stakeholder management throughout the transformation journey. Your success will be measured by your ability to report progress accurately, achieve and sustain financial transparency,  exercise superb communication and stakeholder management skills, handle project complexities, and achieve high customer and stakeholder satisfaction. You will also actively contribute to the transformational journey of Allianz Technology CE when it comes to fulfillment our strategic ambitions. 

 

 

What you do

 

·  Project Portfolio Leadership: Steering and leading multiple programs and projects, ensuring they are aligned with the overall transformation goals, existing planning & budgets constraints  
·  Complex stakeholder and Team management: Managing the end-to-end project pipeline in coordination with Account Management, Head of ITs, underlying IT functions, vendors and RITO. Setting up and leading project teams, delegating tasks as needed 
·  Progress Reporting: Regularly reporting on progress and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders using agreed tooling, processes and governance principles. Representing Allianz Technology and supporting Head of ITs in official governance and steering bodies with the customer. Planning, monitoring, controlling, and reporting project progress, escalating issues when necessary 
·  Customer and Stakeholder Interaction: Advising stakeholders, clarifying their expectations and requirements, and managing project communication structures 
·  Project Documentation and Approvals: Creating, maintaining and / or coordinating project definitions, charters, plans, and offers. Supporting the creation of statements of work and obtaining necessary approvals locally, with central teams and Global Portfolio Office (GPO) 
·  Financial Management: Creating, sustaining financial transparency and continuous management of project financials to ensure projects stay within agreed budgets 
·  Delivery and Satisfaction: Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high quality, striving for high customer and stakeholder satisfaction  
·  Support the transformation of the IT portfolio  by being responsible for local, regional, global initiate implementation of S2V strategy 

 

 

What you bring

 

·  To excel as a Transformation Manager, you are bringing the following skills and expertise to the table:

·  Project and Consulting Experience: International project experience, project portfolio experience and/or  consulting experience for Service provider within Financial Services industry required (at least 7 years) with strong focus on ITIL frameworks and concepts 
·  Analytical and Methodological Skills: Ability to apply analytical thinking, methodological and conceptual skills, along with moderation and presentation capabilities. 
·  Technical Knowledge: Understanding of relevant products, services, and internal standards, processes, rules, and procedures preferably in combination with hands on experience with ServiceNow 
·  Educational Background: A higher education degree or equivalent work experience is required
