We are excited to make O’Fallon, MO our Finance Operations Hub for North America. This expansion includes establishing a new transactional accounting team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global organization, contribute to setting up a new team, and enhance processes.
The Impact You Will Have
The Transactional Accounting Supervisor leads a team of accounting professionals responsible for account reconciliations, accounts payable, travel and entertainment expenses, and monthly journal entries. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial transactions, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency. The Supervisor will also collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
Supervise a team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
Assist in development and training opportunities for team members.
Oversee the preparation and review of account reconciliations, accounts payable processing, travel and entertainment expense management, and monthly journal entries.
Ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies.
Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial position. Monitor key metrics and performance indicators, reporting findings to senior management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
Work closely with other departments to resolve issues and ensure alignment on financial matters
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding transactional accounting activities
What You’ll Bring to the Role
5-7 years experience in proven experience in transactional accounting - AP, T&E, reconciliations, etc
1-3 years experience in managing a team
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
Strong expertise in accounts payable, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA Designation Preferred
Experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to improve business processes and decision-making is preferred
The annualized base pay range for this role is $77,318 - $116,909. The annual base salary range represents nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
