About the role
Reporting into the Head of Learning and Leadership, we have an incredible role to join our People and Culture team. The primary purpose of this role is to partner, consult, advise, lead, and drive the fit capability uplift needs to enable Allianz Australia to realise our business strategy with our people having the right capabilities and skills for today and tomorrow.
- Partner with strategic workforce planning, key business, and human resources stakeholders to understand the skills capability strengths and opportunities needs as well as manage delivery and implementation of capability strategy and plan.
- Lead the development and review of the future fit capability strategy and plan in consultation with business to remain relevant to the changing business needs and environment addressing BAU and project learning requirements.
- Identify and develop business case(s) for funding requirements for proposed solutions.
- Deliver on the uplift in capabilities needed to deliver the business strategy, in alignment with strategic capability planning actions inclusive of learning campaigns and communication.
- Measure, report, and provide insights to assist the business to review the return on investment and the effectiveness and relevance of the capability strategy and plan.
- Consult, advise and influence he business and key stakeholders on the correct solution to deliver against our enterprise learning strategy in both BAU and project portfolios whilst meeting business needs. ·
- Engage and influence stakeholders, change managers, business partners, risk, and compliance to influence outcomes, define and roll out solutions.
- Collaborate and co-create business stakeholders to ensure solutions are strategically aligned and successfully governed and embedded into Allianz ways of working once implemented.
- Provide subject matter expertise on current and future skills capability uplift best practice to develop future fit policies, practices, programs, solutions.
- Act as the future fit escalation point for stakeholders in Allianz Australia and the Allianz Global Organisation.
About you
- Extensive experience with a focus on Organisational Development and capability uplift.
- A tertiary qualification relevant to Organisational Development.
- Extensive experience in the build, design, implementation, and embedment of organisational development/ people strategy to drive changes to organisational behaviour.
- Strong understanding of learning principles, defining learning outcomes and creating appropriate learning solutions.
- Recent experience in a senior leadership role with proven ability to foster cross functional awareness and collaboration with senior stakeholders, ensuring individual business objectives and people performance are aligned to organisational strategy, processes, and values.
- Extensive experience leading and managing teams; empowering people to realise their highest potential by recognising and developing individual and team performance and building talent pipelines to safeguard current and future organisational needs.
- Demonstrated evidence of successfully leading and delivering projects within time, budget and resource constraints and sustaining outcomes.
- Demonstrates in-depth understanding of strategy development and can work with multiple teams to align department strategy with organisational vision, translating vision to action to achieve desired results.
- Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
- Proven capability to manage change through the initiation and promotion of organisational transformation, leveraging effective process, collaboration, and communication to foster commitment and participation.
- Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity and provide pragmatic commercial solutions to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to make independent as well as collaborative decisions during expected or unexpected situations and then taking responsibility for the consequences of decisions taken.
- Able to identify, analyse and assess risks inherent to the business and put in place appropriate controls / actions to manage the risks for future sustainability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity impact and influence.
