About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Brand Manager to join our brand management team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing our Allianz brands within the UK personal and commercial lines market, enhancing the positioning, growth, and overall success of our brand portfolio. You’ll monitor our brand health, collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop innovative campaigns and ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brand management, consumer insights, and strategic marketing, with a passion for building and nurturing brand equity in a competitive market. Insurance or experience in the financial services sector is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy Execution:
· Work with the Head of Brand and Brand Director to deliver on our brand strategy objectives to drive growth and market share.
· Support the team in embedding brand positioning, messaging, and identity across all channels.
· Monitor and translate market trends, consumer insights, and competitive analysis into actionable brand plans.
· Own the setting, managing and reporting deliverables and KPIs to the Head of Brand and Brand Director.
· Project management for any initiatives and activities which will support delivery of brand strategy KPIs.
Brand Health & Performance Tracking:
· Oversee the monitoring of brand performance metrics (e.g., brand awareness, customer loyalty, market share) and make data-driven recommendations for optimisation. This includes reporting to Senior Management.
· Conduct regular brand health assessments, consumer research, and competitor benchmarking to identify growth opportunities.
Brand Campaign Development and Delivery:
· Lead the end-to-end development of integrated brand marketing campaigns for personal and commercial lines.
· Support the Advertising Manager in the creation of an ATL campaign for the personal lines market.
· Ensure campaigns are aligned with brand goals, resonates with target audiences and deliver measurable results across multiple channels.
Reputation Management
· Work with the PR team to oversee the safeguarding of the brand’s reputation, support with crisis management and proactively protecting our brand from potential risks.
Budget Management:
· Manage the brand marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.
Stakeholder Management:
· Manage relationships with external agencies to ensure the timely and effective execution of brand initiatives.
· Work with the internal teams across the business such as External Comms, Internal Comms and Marketing to ensure consistency and delivery of our brand goals.
About you:
· Significant experience in brand management
· Proven track record of managing large, multi-channel brand initiatives and delivering results.
· Strong strategic thinking and ability to align brand strategy with business goals.
· Experience in understanding market research, consumer insights, and competitive analysis and turning this into actionable insights.
· Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
· Data-driven mindset with experience in analysing brand performance metrics and adjusting strategies accordingly.
· Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing talent.
· Proficiency in project management and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
· Familiarity with brand tracking tools, analytics platforms, and digital marketing technologies.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or other creative tools is a plus
