Job description

Qualification, Experience and Skills

 

Essential:

  • SME in Continuous Integration/Delivery practices
  • Administration of source code management systems and branching strategies
  • Experience of building and deploying large-scale Java or .Net applications
  • Hands on experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure IaaS and PaaS)
  • Excellent understanding of change control and deployment practices
  • Expert knowledge in more than one of the following:
    • Build automation tools (Gradle & Maven)
    • Jenkins
    • GIT
    • Artifactory - JFrog
    • Serena
  • Knowledge of Windows (server) or Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of Jboss is preferred
  • Exposure to Groovy, Powershell and bash programming/scripting languages
  • Security best practices
  • Software development and design best practice
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with ability to mentor less experienced members of the team

 

Desirable:

  • Handson experience in ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence
  • Knowledge of automated testing best practices
  • Experience of automating environment configuration management.
  • Knowledge of Release management best practises.
  • Having a basic understanding or exposure to AI tools would be a plus.
