Job Purpose / Role
Within the Strategic Planning department in the CFO area, we are looking for an Insurance Planning specialist who will join the P/C Planning & Capital Management team. Your role will encompass a variety of dynamic and challenging tasks. These include – but are not limited to – supporting the activities related to the Strategic Planning cycle in the P/C segment, driving the ongoing performance monitoring, and contributing to regular forecast activities as well as to ad hoc special projects, in a regular exchange with the Company’s Top Management.
To this end, you will collaborate closely with a diverse range of experts, from both Allianz SpA and other international Allianz SE Group legal entities. This includes for example interacting with Actuarial, Accounting&Reporting, Risk colleagues, as well as with the P/C technical area team.
Key Responsibilities
In particular, your tasks will comprise:
• Contributing to the design and coordination of the Strategic Planning for P/C companies within Allianz S.p.A. Group, pro-actively interfacing with all involved business functions and contributing to the development of the Company’s mid-term industrial strategy
• Driving monitoring activities and running quantitative analysis to support the CFO and the Business Functions’ strategic decisions, interfacing with a wide range of experts both from Allianz S.p.A. and Allianz SE Group, including other international legal entities belonging to the Allianz SE Group
• Performing regular forecast activities in coordination with all involved Local and Group departments through the maintenance and enhancement of the projection models
• Contributing to the further development of the models’ and tools’ landscape for planning / monitoring / forecasting activities
• Participating in and/or leading the implementation of strategic business initiatives and ad hoc, cross functional projects, involving exposure to the Company’s Top Management
Key Requirements / Skills / Experience
• Master's degree in Economics, Actuarial, Mathematics or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in Insurance Ccompanies, preferably within Planning & Controlling and/or P/C Actuarial Department
• Good knowledge of the insurance accounting standards (IFRS9/17, Local Gaap) and Solvency II
• Advanced Excel, Python, Power BI and PowerPoint knowledge
• Strong analytical and quantitative mind-set, entrepreneurial attitude and learning agility, along with strong result-orientation and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong team-working orientation, ability to deliver on tight deadlines, to deal with separate work-streams at the same time and to drive (cross-functional) activities involving different local and/or international interfaces
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in Italian and English
