Job description

Key Account Manager Position Summary - Queensland Based

Role Overview

This Junior Account Manager position supports the National Sales Manager for Education and Migration Agents in Allianz Partners' International Health line of business. The role is primarily phone-based (80%) with some client-facing work (20%), managing small-sized agents and colleges while supporting the Key Account Manager with university events

 

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Manage designated accounts according to Allianz Partners' Sales and Distribution Framework
  • Conduct annual account reviews following established methodology
  • Maintain regular client contact through structured sales call cycles
  • Coordinate all client interactions including commercial reviews and product updates
  • Support university events and activities with the Key Account Manager

 

Business Development 

  • Drive profitable acquisition and growth with existing accounts
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and account expansion
  • Conduct portfolio prospecting to support sales campaigns
  • Develop industry intelligence and monitor competitor activities
  • Create and deliver client presentations primarily via phon

 

Reporting and Administration

  • Work with Operations to build client insights and reporting
  • Deliver timely monthly activity reports
  • Maintain management reporting suite for KPI trackin

 

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure regulatory and internal compliance obligations are met
  • Identify and communicate risk exposures
  • Participate in resolving compliance-related issues
  • Follow company policies, Code of Conduct and value

 

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with internal departments
  • Engage partners to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Develop effective external relationships for business opportunities
  • Required Qualification

 

Experience

  • Background in Sales or Account Management
  • Proven experience engaging customers by phone
  • Track record of meeting/exceeding KPIs and sales target
