The Impact You Will Have
You will be delivering effective and efficient claims handling across all Marine lines of business. Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining peer level relationships, collaborating with other functions to ensure accurate claims administration, and completing general claims administration tasks as required.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:
Handle the whole life cycle of UK and international claims
Providing excellent customer service to all external and internal customers
Input, process and maintain accurate claims records (e.g., reserves, payments) for designated accounts
Produce management information reports (e.g., monthly major claims movements)
Prepare referral documentation and materials as appropriate
Report loss information internally and externally
Work with other functional areas in the Claims handling process, such as Underwriting, ARC and Operations, as well as with colleagues in our offices abroad
What You’ll Bring to the Role
Experience in handling claims preferable in the area of Marine
A good understanding of coverage principles
Understanding of relevant legal framework, processes, procedures, and litigation management
Knowledge of reserving principles and practices
The attributes that we deem suitable for the role of handling marine claims for Allianz
Highly organized, able to prioritize and work to deadlines
Positive team spirit and an excitement to learn
Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.
Experience with ECF (Electronic Claims File), CLASS is desirable.
