Job Purpose
The job holder will be working within the Project Management Office spearheading the delivery of technical and key strategic Projects each with a significant IT component. Will own the scope, schedule and budget baselines of those initiatives, and achieve high delivery quality as well as both internal and external customer/stakeholder satisfaction. Interaction with stakeholders from across the value chain (internal and external, local and international) will be critical and almost daily, and it will involve up- and down-stream management, based on our Corporate program/project governance and diligent execution tactics. The IT Project Manager will be leading multi-disciplinary project teams to achieve the company’s short to long-term business objectives and as part of project management, the job holder will ensure that all documentation, supporting materials, and project plans are updated and readily available for internal teams and senior leaders.
What you will do
· Own delivery and governance of technical and strategic projects and programs assigned
· Create, maintain and regularly report project plans; be exclusively responsible for project baseline health including schedule, budget and scope; monitor overall progress and use of resources, initiating and/or advising on corrective actions where necessary; able to forecast vs approved baselines; able to manage business and/or technical overlap across projects
· Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans
· Prepare and delives business reviews for senior management regarding progress, impact and potential roadblocks to project deliverables
· Work with business leaders across the organization to help maximize positive business impact, help incubate new projects and help ensure overall Change pipeline is aligned to business needs and is continually refined and optimized to changing customer needs and corporate strategy; execute Change Management processes
· Help ensure that our PMO maintains an audit / compliance ready posture at all times, according to industry best practices and our corporate policies and procedures
What you bring
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
· Master’s Degree in Information Technology or Business Management or other relevant disciplines
· Excellent command of Greek and English (spoken, written)
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
· Agile Methodology Certification holder (ideally SCRUM)
· Solid knowledge of platforms, software and programs and use of Project Management Tools (Microsoft Project, Microsoft Planner)
· Minimum of 7 years Professional experience; minimum 3 years in IT Project Management; experience in working within a distributed/multinational organizational environment and projects
· Proven track record in project/program management, stakeholder and risk management, and a proven track record of taking ownership and leading medium to large scale infrastructure, IT security and software application projects
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills business savvy and strategic acumen and ability to bridge the business-IT divide
