Job role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Investment Analyst to become part of our team at our Bucharest office. The individual will strengthen the NAMD Team of our customer AIM and will participate to the closing and reporting process of the company in compliance with IFRS regulations. 

What you will do

·  Support with carrying out middle office task for renowned, high volume, private market fund investments including cashflow processing, evaluation data processing, report preparation etc.
·  Ensure position keeping for financial instruments, funds/participations and shareholder loans or external debt for allocated portfolio
·  Monitors the management fees for the allocated portfolio.
·  Handles quarterly evaluation of the funds based on the accounting statements received.
·  Processing and archival of business documents according to corporate retention procedures.
·  Performance of analytical reconciliation tasks within the framework of middle office responsibility
·  Support with setting up new process, process documentation and drive process efficiency measures 
·  Drive smooth collaboration with various internal stakeholders for fulfilment of assigned tasks.

What you bring

Strong academic background (preferably Investment Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics) 
Investment accounting knowledge and expertise on financial instruments in IFRS 9 are a plus
Relevant professional experience in investment accounting and preparation of financial statements 
ACCA, CECCAR or similar diplomas are a plus
Knowledge of eFront, SAP or similar investment position keeping applications
High proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel) 
Fluent in English, German language skills are a plus 
Excellent technical and analytical skills, logical in approach and high attention to detail
Excellent understanding of numbers and processes
