Intern: Credit Controller (m/f/d)

We are looking for an Intern in Credit Control (m/f/d) to join Allianz Risk Transfer (ART) in Wallisellen/Zurich (Switzerland). 

The Impact You Will Have  

As a highly motivated and dedicated intern you will support the credit control activities related to the insurance business of ART with a focus on Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Bermuda. You will have your dedicated own responsibilities within the team and furthermore support the Senior Credit Controllers in their daily operations.  

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

• Support Senior Credit Controllers with the accounts receivable / payables settlement and collection as per agreed terms of settlement.

• Support with the performance of the credit control function of Accounts Receivable/Payable and related account reconciliations.

• Initiate payments via our Treasury Management System for Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Bermuda.

• Perform Finance Operation ART’s reporting requirements 

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Accounting.

• Analytical skills and ability to handle complex processes (closing, reporting, finance operations) including understanding of data flows.

• IT and office application skills to effectively analyze data.

• Proactive attitude and self-motivation with a willingness to learn and contribute to the team's success.

• Fluent English language skills are required, German skills are a plus.

• You can start immediately and are interested in an internship for 6 months in full-time.

• A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.

• Working hours: 41 hours/week.
• Duration at least 6 months (preferably longer).
