About the Job  

The team develops, operates and maintains an application for Solvency II and IFRS17 reporting, corporate management etc.

A stochastic valuation model is used to (among others) determine the market value of the obligations of Allianz Leben, APKV and UBR (non-life) for the market value balance sheet to be prepared in accordance with Solvency II. For this purpose, the company's investment portfolio and insurance portfolio are extrapolated into the future using a stochastic projection and management rules and then valuated as at the current reporting date.

The existing application is to be extended in several ways, among others. All new modules are to be callable via a graphical user interface using Angular and REST services.

 

 

What you do 

  • Implement new modules for the pricing of assets in scenarios
  • Automate the import of scenario data
  • Automate the import of P&L data
  • Generate sets of runs from templates
  • Collect, analyze and prepare functional requirements for implementation
  • Implementation of requirements with Java
  • Performance tuning
  • Testing and documentation

 

 

 

What you bring

  • Programming experience (Java, Angular, HTML, REST backend)
  • Cloud experience, preferably AWS
  • Ability to quickly grasp, analyze and precisely formulate complex issues, combined with a strong solution orientation, agile mindset
  • Work in an agile team with agile methods and tools (Jira, github, Jenkins, …)
  • English on level C1
  • Willingness to work on-site at the client's location (Stuttgart) for individual days
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
