Job description
As an Ops Senior Controller (Associate/Senior Associate), you will play a crucial role in optimizing financial management processes for all Lines of Business within the APAC region. Leveraging advanced analytics and AI-driven insights, your responsibilities will include strategic financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to support decision-making and enhance global operations performance. You will collaborate with various departments, ensuring financial health and identifying efficiency improvements to contribute to the organization's success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Controls: Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans aligned with organizational targets, and establish robust financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with policies.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct in-depth financial analyses, provide insights for strategic decision-making, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to all relevant stakeholders, including management and regulatory bodies.
- Performance Monitoring and Forecasting: Oversee the monitoring of financial performance against budgets, identify variances, recommend corrective actions, and develop financial forecasts and projections using predictive analytics to aid proactive decision-making and resource allocation.
- Cross-departmental Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other Operations and non-Operations departments to gather data, align financial strategies, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives, enhancing the overall success of Allianz Partners.
- Risk Management and Process Excellence: Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, while driving continuous process improvements in financial procedures and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy from a Business Unit perspective following global standards.
- Strategic Planning and Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with other teams to align financial strategies with overall organizational objectives of Allianz Partners, and communicate financial insights and recommendations clearly to non-financial stakeholders to facilitate understanding and informed decision-making.
- Audit Coordination and Compliance: Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring compliance and accurate representation of Operations financial data, and stay informed about standards to ensure the organization’s practices comply with them.
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in Operations, Finance, IT, audit, consulting, or similar analytical roles.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with a background in Finance or Operations performance management
- Passion for data, technology, and analytics, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (incl. VBA) and BI tools.
- IT technical affinity and experience with databases and process systems.
- Ability to structure complex issues and manage change effectively.
- Comfortable working in a global, multicultural environment.
- Fluent in English and Thai; additional languages are a plus.
