As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing debts and ensuring timely payments are made by brokers in line with our credit terms. You will resolve reasons for non-payment with customers so payments can progress, always ensuring you act in a professional, timely and efficient manner. Naturally, you will have a strong customer focus and be able to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
You will also conduct in-depth analysis of the credit portfolio, identifying trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

This Role is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
About You
· Work effectively and collaboratively with query management and cash posting team to ensure the queries are resolved and cash receipts are applied on time
· Review the data and use the bulk upload template to add the Agentref1 codes.
· Adhere to all the SLAs, Escalation matrix and quality targets defined in the process.
· Demonstrate end to end understanding, support and delivery of tasks/accounts, including enhanced customer experience.
· Proactively deal with any customer escalation in a professional and courteous manner, thereby improve customer satisfaction.
· Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, and other relevant stakeholders. This involves effective communication, providing excellent customer service, and addressing any queries or issues related to credit control.
Essential Skills
· Experience of working in a financial domain, ideally on Credit Management / Accounts Receivable / exposure to UK banking systems and procedures
· Self-Starter, with high level of attention to detail and customer service and communication skills.
· Goal oriented, with excellent organisational skills, capable of muti-tasking.
· Strong team player, but able to work on own initiative, with high level of resilience and strong decision making skills
· Proficient is MS Suite Office and finance related systems/software

· Expertise in change management and ability to execute process control mechanisms.
