Job description
What you do
- Develop, maintain, and enhance scripts in “Yaml” to automate DB2 maintenance tasks, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
- Analyse existing workflows and scripts to understand their functionality and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test automation solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DB2 maintenance and automation processes.
- Document processes, workflows, and scripts to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
What you bring
- Proven experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar for automation tasks.
- Good understanding of DB2 database on Linux platforms.
- Experience with workflow analysis and the ability to comprehend and enhance existing solutions.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members across globe.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
