The primary purpose of this role is to drive the strategic relationship and be the centralised point of contact between Allianz, Regulators, and contract principals within Government Services business. Please note, this is a 12-month contract.

 

About the role

  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with contract principals and NSW regulators, including iCare, State Super, SIRA, and Allianz, while serving as the central point of contact for managing inquiries.
  • Lead and manage key projects for Treasury Managed Fund, Nominal Insurer, State Super, and Self Insurance businesses, ensuring compliance with contract obligations and performance measures.
  • Support the Head of Government Performance and Government Services Leadership team in delivering transition services with regulators, aligning with contractual, risk, legislative, and business requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute external reporting requirements and regulator-mandated projects, ensure compliance within authority levels, and coordinate regulatory audits and targeted reviews.
  • Maintain networks, enhance relationships, and advocate on behalf of Allianz with government regulators, clients, and providers, while conducting ongoing reviews to improve internal processes and meet contractual obligations.

 

About you

  • Extensive experience in workers' compensation/personal injury schemes, with a strong ability to influence regulators to improve compliance frameworks and scheme performance.
  • Proven track record in coordinating and delivering business-wide projects, demonstrating effective planning, prioritization, and resource management skills.
  • In-depth understanding of contract and relationship management with regulators and contract principals, with the ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to negotiate and persuade appropriate outcomes.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for optimizing business value to customers by delivering high-quality services and positive customer experiences, thereby sustaining, and enhancing the customer base.
  • Strong decision-making skills, both independently and collaboratively, with effective communication and collaboration abilities within diverse teams.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
