About the Job 

 

The Local Compliance Officer is responsible for the local implementation and oversight of Allianz Technology SE Compliance programs within Germany, as part of a team of Local Compliance Officers. Additionally, the Compliance Officer closely collaborates with other second line of defence functions, in particular Risk Management.

Compliance is organized in a regional model (Europe, India, APAC, North America and growing into other regions) to ensure proximity to its customers and to support the business; the central team provides support to all businesses.

 

 

What you do

 

  • Support the rollout and implementation of the Allianz Technology Compliance Management System in your area of responsibility
  • Compliance Risk Identification and Assessment and control environment assurance activities
  • Monitoring of Compliance with Internal, External and Contractual Requirements
  • Provide Compliance Training and Communication, Compliance Investigations and Incident Handling
  • Compliance Reporting incl. monthly maintenance of Compliance Issue Management Tool (CIMT) as well as of the Compliance Case Management Tool (CCMT)
  • Support Compliance Reviews  and support global Compliance projects/initiatives as the case may be
  • Act as local point of contact with other safeguarding functions and key stakeholders on all Compliance topics

 

 

What you bring

 

  • Business fluency in English., with German being a plus
  • Strong team-work skills and intercultural experience
  • Excellent communication skills and strong presentation skills. Experience of preparing Senior/Board level reports a plus.
  • Applying analytical thinking and conflict management skills with highest ethical standards and integrity
  • Microsoft Office tool skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Financial Services, Technology, Compliance or other safeguarding functions
  • Higher education degree or qualification in Compliance, Legal, Business, Engineering, Education, Computer Science, MBA  etc. a plus.
