Compliance and Regulatory Analyst – Baltimore, Maryland

 

Reporting Line: Regional Compliance Officer & Head of Govt Relations

 

Support the Compliance and Regulatory teams in matters affecting the company

 

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties

 

·  Support Compliance & Regulatory function in US, Canada and Brazil
·  Identification, documentation, and testing of internal controls
·  Document, modify, and implement processes and procedures
·  Collaborate with Legal and HR departments to monitor enforcement of policies and procedures
·  Research and monitor domestic and international legal/regulatory requirements
·  Coordinate Compliance related training for internal stakeholders
·  Act as subject-matter expert in compliance and regulatory tools
·  Coordinate, organize, and provide support during internal and external audits as well as regulatory exams and filings
·  Prepare reports for internal management and coordinate responses to external regulators
·  Respond to internal and external requests for guidance on compliance and regulatory matters
·  Process invoices for timely payment
·  Assist sales staff with maintaining required licensure

 

 

Required Qualifications and Skills

 

·  Bachelor’s degree
·  2-4 years’ experience in Compliance, Audit, Licensure, or similar field
·  General understanding of compliance risks
·  Document management & organization
·  Documenting and implementing processes and procedures
·  Process Optimization
·  Regulatory research
·  Maintain a high level of integrity and serve as an example for other employees
·  Interview and Investigation skills
·  Research, analytical, and decision-making skills
·  Strong oral and written communication skills
·  Sound interpersonal skills to effectively work with employees from all business areas
·  Exceptionally high attention to detail, time management, and organization
