Job description
We are looking for a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data solutions that support business reporting and analytics needs.
Scope of Work:
Enable reliable, efficient, and high-quality data functionalities to ensure smooth operations and accurate reporting for business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain data pipelines and databases to support reporting and analytics.
- Ensure data flows are reliable, secure, and optimized for performance.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions with clear documentation.
- Support reporting and BI activities by integrating data from multiple sources.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
Technologies Covered:
- Databases & BI: Postgres, Microstrategy
- Orchestration & Deployment: Helm, ArgoCD, Luigi
- Languages: Python, Spark, SQL
Expected Competencies:
- Experience in data engineering, with strong SQL and Python skills.
- Knowledge of Spark for processing large-scale data.
- Familiarity with BI/reporting tools and their integration with data platforms.
- Experience with modern orchestration and deployment tools (e.g., Helm, ArgoCD, Luigi).
- Strong problem-solving ability, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
