Job description

Territory: Eastern Houston & Western Louisiana

 To promote Allianz products and services to Registered Reps within a specific territory, while developing and maintaining solid business relationships and adhering to the Allianz sales philosophy.

 What you do:

Distribution Leadership – Sales Productivity and Operational Excellence

  • Achieve territory sales target and market share as established by your District Director
  • Meet/exceed all producer goals as outlined by your District Director with a focus on:
  • Producer retention
  • Maintain production level of 500k+ producers from previous year
  • New producers/MIA winbacks
  • Effectively Promote and leverage technology tools
  • Utilize resources and integrate best practices
  • Conduct and log weekly activity numbers as set by District Director into Salesforce
  • Remain in compliance with ALFS policies and procedures
  • Expense Management
  • Be a company steward of resources available
  • Submit Expenses in a timely fashion
  • Stay within allocated T&E and Marketing Support budgets
  • Territory Management
  • Execute plan to successfully partner with Internal Retirement Consultant
  • Ensure Zones/Rotations are entered
  • Maintain proper territory segmentation
  • Ensure meeting notes are entered for completed meetings
  • Execute Marketing Campaigns
  • Effectively manage communications; Email and voicemail

 

Product Knowledge and Financial Planning Acumen: Develop a deep expertise on the Allianz product suite and how our solutions can complement other portfolio holdings.

  • Know and understand the annuity competitive landscape
  • Practice, demonstrate and master a simple, repeatable story
  • Understand the fundamentals of holistic financial planning including the language and technology ecosystem

 

Value Add: Create a multi-pronged non product value proposition to build, nurture and protect durable relationships with financial advisors (see below for consideration).

  • Advanced Markets:
  • Leverage virtual and in-person meetings and understand resources available
  • Become a subject matter expert on Social Security or Medicare
  • Practice Management:
  • Leverage practice management speakers
  • FinTech:
  • Become a subject matter expect in modeling solutions within different platforms
  • Marketing and Branding:
  • Leverage social media to better market Allianz, our product solutions and your value proposition to financial advisors

Relationship Building: Utilize events and campaigns to attract, grow and retain producers.

  • Responsible for creating and executing personalized events and campaigns

Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)

 

What you bring:

  • 2-5years of proven sales ability within the Financial Services industry
  • Current FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses
  • Current State Life/Annuity Insurance license
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Travel up to 80%
  • Scheduling of Appointments and reporting of 7-day past and 21-day out calendar
  • One-on-one meetings with advisors
  • Implementation of Company programs
  • Day to day travel and entertainment expenses
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.
