AML/KYC Operations Analyst (f/m/d) - Limited to 12 Months - Allianz - LUXEMBOURG

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented AML/KYC Operations Analyst (f/m/d) to join our AML/KYC Operations Team on a full time, 12-month temporary assignment.

In this role, you will support our internal Legal and Investments teams by efficiently managing inbound AML/KYC requests, ensuring that accurate, complete and timely CDD information is provided to third-party institutions conducting due diligence on AllianzGI entities and investment vehicles.

You will also contribute to the migration of provider projects, supporting the transition of reporting processes and ensuring the continuity of monthly oversight controls on the ownership of AllianzGI Luxembourg domiciled funds.

You will additionally be responsible for the RBE (Luxembourg Beneficial Ownership Register) registration process for newly launched investment funds, and will play a key role in the annual FATCA/CRS reporting control framework, ensuring exhaustiveness, timeliness and consistency of the information submitted.

This position will be based in Senningerberg, Luxembourg.

What you will do

Inbound KYC / CDD Support

Manage and respond to external AML/KYC requests received from fund administrators, custodians, counterparties, and other third-party institutions
Coordinate with AllianzGI Legal and Investments teams to collect, validate and consolidate CDD documentation
Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely delivery of KYC packages and AML attestations
Maintain oversight of inbound KYC queues, track deadlines, and ensure proper documentation

Project Support – Migration of Provider

Participate in the migration-of-provider project, working closely with the project team to ensure a smooth transition of relevant processes and data
Support the development, testing, and implementation of new reporting solutions required to maintain monthly oversight controls on the ownership of AllianzGI Luxembourg domiciled funds
Agree and document a clear process flow between the CDDS team and the new provider for all aspects related to FATCA/CRS reporting, including timelines, level of information required, DAC7 mailings, and other operational dependencies

RBE Registration

Coordinate and perform the initial RBE filings for newly launched Luxembourg investment funds
Collect, analyse, and validate beneficial ownership and governance information
FATCA / CRS Annual Reporting Controls
Support annual FATCA and CRS reporting cycles
Perform control checks to ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency
Track and validate remediation actions arising from discrepancies

What you bring

At least 3 years of related experience in undertaking AML / KYC reviews within a financial institution
Excellent English, verbal and written
Knowledge of German, Italian or Spanish beneficial
Proven problem-solving skills and project management skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent research, analytical and communication skills
Time management skills with ability to prioritize
Ability to work with all levels of staff and management
Strong teamwork and organisational skills
Sound judgment and high integrity
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Edge
