Job description
You will be responsible for the development and delivery of sophisticated Advanced Markets programs. You will provide complex advanced planning support to our distribution partners, focusing on the use of annuity products in retirement planning, estate planning, financial planning, tax planning, and general tax/legal issues. You will stay current on industry Advanced Markets concepts, including Social Security and Medicare as well as conduct technical analysis of new advanced planning ideas/positioning. This position also involves an in-depth analysis of potential topics for future Advanced Markets programs, with technical tax and legal research as needed. You will also create cutting-edge presentations and related marketing collateral on the latest Advanced Markets topics, utilizing in-depth product and concept knowledge alongside advanced planning software. This role demands expert casework assistance and the creation of written marketing/sales concept materials.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and training skills are essential. Your ability to connect technical advanced tax and legal concepts to the sales process ensuring Financial Professionals understand how the information can be applied to client retirement needs is critical. You will be responsible for presenting to our distribution partners or internally on a variety of advanced planning topics through webinars or in-person presentations. Extensive travel is required. You will report to the Advanced Markets Senior Director.
What you do:
- Deliver presentations at the highest professional level to advisors: Present Advanced Markets topics (and other value-added programs) at a variety of venues including RC/Wholesaler meetings, Broker-Dealer conferences, client seminars etc. Present in person and virtually.
- Create cutting edge presentations and related marketing collateral: Responsible for program content development including the PowerPoint presentations, marketing materials, and value-add promotional items related to the topic. Work with Ad Review to meet corporate standards. Updates and enhances the program(s) to maintain them as Advanced Markets offerings.
- Research and recommend new Advanced Market topics for field programs: Keep current on Advanced Markets issues and industry concepts.
- Be an ambassador and liaison between Distribution, External Business partners and Marketing.
- Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).
What you bring:
- 10 or more years' experience required: Experience in Financial Services and Advanced Markets with strong public speaking skills.
- Four-year degree required
- Advanced degree preferred: J.D., CPA, MBA, CFP, CLU, or ChFC
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship.
Base Salary Range $117,000 - $196,000
Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
