Job Description:
position as a Supply Chain and Quality Manager (SCQM) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid) or Sevilla.
The successful applicant will join the Production Materials Supply Chain and Quality department as part of the Procurement Organization
The Supply Chain and Quality Manager for Production Materials will act as Supply Chain Industrial, Operations and Quality Responsible for all the suppliers under its scope and will ensure the deployment of Airbus DS Quality and Supply Chain requirements in the suppliers.
The SCQM will lead or support the following tasks:
- Ensures the Industrial Maturity, Quality and Operational performance of the suppliers.
- Represents procurement organization in the associated Multi-Functional Teams.
- Leads the deployment of Airbus DS Quality and Supply Chain requirements in the suppliers.
- Participates in the Call for Tender process , representing procurement organization from the Industrial, Operational and Quality points of view.
- Leads New Product Introductions, transfer of works or industrial changes affecting the supply chain.
- Leads APQP deployment in suppliers
- Contributes to the Risk & Opportunities Management associated to the supply chain
- Leads the Management of Quality Escapes and all type of non-conformities, leading all the associated activities with internal and external stakeholders
- Leads the root case analysis and associated actions plans from both a corrective and preventative point of view
- Leads and/or contributes to the Vendor Approval Process (VAP), Qualifications and Certifications of suppliers follow up according to Requirements
- Leads the supplier surveillance activities , such as management of non-conformities, revision of First Article Inspection Reports or Quality Assurance Plans and is responsible of the Supplier Performance Overview
- Leads the deployment of Procurement Tools in the suppliers
- Ensures an appropriate support and visibility in front of internal stakeholders
SKILLS
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
· Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree
· At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain and Quality Departments
· At least 3 years of experience as a Project Leader, especially leading with NPI (New Product Introduction) and ToW (Transfer of Work)
· Experience with Aerospace Quality Standards and Regulations
· Experience dealing with Airbus Defence and Space Quality Standards and Requirements
· Experience in Audits & Assessments: Quality Management System Audits, IPCA+, CCPs, etc.
· Experience dealing with certifications (parts and processes).
· Experience with APQP.
· Experience leading non-conformance processes and other specific quality tasks such as reviewing FAIs (First Article Inspections) and QAPs (Quality Assurance Plans).
· High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a network mode
· Experience in managing people and conflicts.
· Advanced level in English.
· Advanced level in Spanish.
· German or French would be an asset.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Able to travel.
· Able to propose new ideas
