Internship – "Computational Electromagnetics for Radar Signature Simulation"

Job Description:

In order to support the development of numerical tools for the simulation of Radar signatures, we offer an internship position at the "Signatures" department.

· 
Location: Bremen

· 
Start: 01.01.2025 or later

· 
Duration: Three up to six months (according to the study regulations)

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

· 
Perform the theoretical analysis of an assigned computational electromagnetics topic, including literature review and mathematical description of the problem

· 
Implement new algorithms in C++ and contribute to the extension and improvement of existing ones

· 
Benchmarking and testing of computational electromagnetic software

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

· 
Enrolled as a full-time student (d/f/m) in mathematics, physics, electrical engineering or similar

· 
Strong interest in computational electromagnetics and applied mathematics

· 
Good knowledge of numerical mathematics and electromagnetics

· 
Practical experience with programming in C++
