Team:  Architecture & Concept Analysis

The Architecture & Concept Analysis team is a part of Structural Analysis group under Structures department and plays a key role in demonstrating emerging technology readiness levels and developing innovative solutions for design and development of current and future aircraft programmes.

Position:  Associate Engineer - Architecture & Concept Analysis

Job description:  An internship opportunity has arisen within the Architecture & Concept Analysis team to contribute to the development of next generation aircrafts. Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of flight. As an Aerospace Structural Engineer, you will leverage your comprehensive knowledge of aircraft structures to design, analyze and optimize structural components for new and existing aircraft programs. You will be responsible for conducting detailed stress analyses, performing sizing calculations and applying finite element analysis (FEA) methods to predict structural behavior under various loading conditions. Your innovative mindset will be valued as we strive to push the boundaries of aerospace technology.

Responsibilities:

·  Perform preliminary design and sizing studies using hand calculations and finite element methods.
·  Linear and non-linear static and fatigue stress justifications using hand calculations and finite element analysis.
·  Contribute to the development of new structural concepts and innovative solutions for future aircraft designs.
·  Explore digitization techniques such as automation, data analytics, machine learning etc.

Qualification: Graduate/Post graduate (Aerospace / Mechanical / Civil / Manufacturing)

Skills required:  Aircraft Structures, Stress Analysis / Sizing, Finite Element Analysis, New Product Development / Innovation cycles, FEA & CAD tools (Basic knowledge)
