 Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an Associate System Engineer  who is self-motivated and driven to work with multiple stakeholders in an R&T environment being responsible for: 

· 
Understanding the technological needs of various aircraft systems and its extended ecosystem (customers, suppliers, strategic partners etc.). 

· 
Quickly learning and creating prototypes/concrete solutions that solve the needs and problems identified. 

· 
Working with a transnational team on selected systems. 

· 
Model development and validation

· 
Develop new models or implement updates to existing models.

· 
Ideate, design and sizer the architecture of system e.g Electrical

· 
Calibrate & tune model parameters based on test rig data/ Flight test data

· 
Performing data analysis and test results for decision making on the design and development aspects.

· 
Implementing the solution on selected systems use cases. 

· 
Working and participating in the TRL (Technology Readiness Level) preparation and review. 

· 
Being flexible to be challenged on one’s ideas and to still drive innovative solutions. 

· 
Networking with other transnational system designers/experts to understand and improve the solution at hand. 

· 
Validating, Testing and Deploying the innovative solutions developed and documenting the learning in the process. 

· 
Providing project updates on a consistent basis to the various stakeholders involved in the team. 

Required Education

· 
M. Tech. / M. E. in aerospace, mechanical, electrical or electronics engineering

Required Skills and Expertise

· 
Knowledge in aircraft systems: especially Electrical System, Mechanical System and Model based simulation.

· 
Basic awareness of system engineering concepts

· 
Experienced with at least one of the modeling and simulation tools (MATLAB-Simulink, AMESIM etc.). 

· 
Ability to implement/derive equations, algorithms based on journal papers and other literature sources.

· 
Knowledge and experience in Data Analytics & related tools (MATLAB, Python, R, etc.). 

· 
Knowledge in fault injection and progression model.

· 
Knowledge and experience in Predictive Data Analytics & related tools (added advantage).

· 
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· 
Flexibility and adaptability.

 

Nice to Have

· 
Proficiency in quickly grasping the technical details of different aircraft systems and associating the technology to solve relevant problem statements. 

· 
Good communicator so as to represent Airbus India as part of the project

· 
Self-motivated individual interested in working on data science concepts for aviation industry

· 
Strong team player motivated to collaborate and find synergies

· 
Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to solve problems creatively

· 
Experience in the Aerospace industry and Aircraft Systems knowledge
