Job Description:
Role Overview: This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply and expand your knowledge in advanced engineering analysis. You will support ongoing projects by performing simulations, analyses, and assessments, contributing directly to the development and optimization of engineering designs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural and mechanical components.
· Apply principles of computational mechanics to solve complex engineering problems.
· Perform detailed fracture mechanics analyses to predict material failure and ensure structural integrity (strong emphasis).
· Contribute to the strength assessment of composite materials and structures.
· Gain exposure to and understanding of various manufacturing processes relevant to analyzed components.
· Assist in basic vibration and acoustics (NVH) related analyses.
· Document analysis results and contribute to technical reports.
· Collaborate with experienced engineers on project tasks.
Required Skills:
· Strong theoretical foundation in mechanical engineering or a related field.
· Proficiency in advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software (e.g., Abaqus, ANSYS, Nastran).
· Solid understanding of computational mechanics principles.
· Excellent knowledge of Fracture Mechanics concepts and analysis techniques (++) .
· Familiarity with the strength assessment of composite materials.
· Basic understanding of various manufacturing processes.
· Some exposure to vibration and acoustics (NVH) principles.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Good communication and teamwork abilities.
