Responsibilities - your mission

All those activities must comply with the applicable export control regulations and laws to ensure Airbus reputation and avoid any financial damage (i.e. litigations, non compliance penalties).

Mission:

Export Control (EC) Program Management (0.50 FTE Split)

This role serves as the dedicated PMBP for EC activities within the S organization, supporting the 3 TCOs (Technology Control Officers) by ensuring structure, execution, and communication of the compliance roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Structure & Tools:

·  Design, build, and maintain the governance framework, including a consolidated planning/roadmap, comprehensive action trackers, and relevant KPIs/reports.

·  Ensure all tools are utilized uniformly across the supported TCOs to maintain a structured and consistent organization.

Monitoring & Risk Management:

·  Conduct strict weekly follow-up and 'drumbeating' on the action tracker to ensure timely execution of EC compliance activities.

·  Provide the action tracker status as a primary input to central risk management processes.

·  Maintain and monitor the central repositories for EC-related documents, guidelines, and compliance records, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.

Network Coordination & Communication:

·  Manage the EPoC (Export Point of Contact) Network administration (list management, welcome kits, meeting invitations, logistics).

·  Support the active animation of the internal network through updates on the GSite, managing chat communications, and producing internal newsletters and communication materials to foster a culture of compliance.

Mission:

Strategic Parts Project Support (0.50 FTE Split)

This role provides dedicated PMO support for the strategic "Parts Project," driving organizational rigor and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Governance: Define and maintain the overall structure and governance framework for the Parts Project.

Risk & Mitigation Management: Proactively identify project risks and develop, track, and monitor corresponding mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders.

Activity Oversight: Conduct regular monitoring and 'drumbeating' of project activities to ensure milestones are met on time and within scope.

To ensure this mission, you will be supported by the core team and methods & tools:

·  Perform EC Curriculum to perform

·  Read all Team Talks, EC Method & Exportcontrol[in]S GSite

·  S presentation (activities)

·  Action Plan

·  Monthly Report

·  Engage with the Export Control teams in Airbus Commercial aircraft and the Airbus divisions Helicopters, Defence & Space to undertake audits of Export Control processes

·  Deliver structured, objective assessments in English of complex situations and processes based on evidence, detailed analysis, and clear reporting that will guide senior management action

·  Participate in the elaboration of the scope and objectives of audits

·  Implement and further build the Export Control audit framework for Airbus

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:

Required Experience & Skills:

·  Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in a project management or PMO (Project Management Office) role. Must be adept at creating and maintaining structured tools (roadmaps, action trackers, KPIs, reporting). A certification (like PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is a plus.

·  Regulatory/Compliance Acumen: Demonstrated understanding of or direct experience with Export Control (EC), trade compliance, or a similar regulatory environment. 

The candidate doesn't need to be an EC expert, but must grasp the importance of strict compliance and risk management.

·  Stakeholder & Change Management: Experience in supporting and coordinating a network (like EPoC network) across different organizational units. The ability to "drumbeat" and drive action without direct authority is crucial.

·  Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in relevant tools, such as GSheets (for trackers/KPIs), GDrive/GSite (for central repositories/communication).

·  Communication & Reporting: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to distill complex information into clear, concise reports and communication documents (newsletters, presentations).

·  Attention to Detail: Meticulous and highly organized, given the focus on strict follow-up, central repositories, and maintaining accurate data for risk management.

·  Self-Starter/Autonomous: They must be able to manage their time, prioritize two distinct missions, and deliver results with minimal supervision.

·  Collaborative/Service-Oriented: A true "Business Partner" who is proactive in offering support and driving collaboration within the network.

·  Analytical: Capable of synthesizing data from action trackers and repositories to identify risks and contribute to central risk management.
