Job Description:
- Candidate will be appointed as a Local Head of Flight Training of the Indian ATO at AIPL T3, towards the Indian Aviation Authority (DGCA).
In this function, HoT will report to the local Accountable Manager - AIPL and also to the
Worldwide Head of Training and will have for the Indian ATO, the delegation from the Head of
Training for:
● Ensuring that the training provided is in compliance with Airbus Flight Training Reference
(AFTR)
● Ensuring the satisfactory integration of flight training in an aircraft or a flight simulation
training device (FSTD) and theoretical knowledge instruction
● Supervising the progress of individual trainees
● Issuing the Airbus Flight Training certificate in accordance with the applicable
procedures
● Guaranty that training is delivered in compliance with the competency based training and assessment program
- Within Airbus Training Center - Airbus India Pvt. Ltd. - T3, he will be responsible for continuously ensuring that the training provided under the Indian ATO is in compliance with Airbus Flight Training Reference, particularly for:
● Ensuring the training provided is in compliance with the Civil Aviation Authority of India
● Implementing and maintaining continuous monitoring of Airbus Flight Training standard
● The trainee’s pre-requisites for the course, the Training materials (FCTP, FSTD ....),
training forms and progress reports
● The Instructor/Examiner competencies
● Participate in facility projects and training equipment acquisition activities, committees and/or advisory groups as a technical representative for the training department, as requested by the Head of Training.
