Join an industry-leading utilities organisation as a Senior Full Stack Developer on a temporary contract basis! This exciting opportunity allows you to work with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced and innovative team, focusing on a post-trade platform within the Energy Trading Front Office business. If you're passionate about coding and want to make a significant impact, this is the role for you!

Role: Senior Full Stack Developer

Location: London Hybrid (3 days a week onsite)

Duration: 6 Months (extension options)

Responsibilities:

·  Design, develop, and maintain applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.

·  Ensure applications are scalable, reliable, and secure.

·  Propose technical solutions and vendor products for business problems, collaborating with the project team.

·  Utilise and enhance continuous delivery pipelines to release new features and functionality.

·  Liaise with system owners and business units to ensure systems meet requirements.

·  Create high-level technical designs, aligning with Centrica's architectural patterns and practises.

Qualifications:

·  Essential: Commercial programming experience in Python or React/Svelte.

·  Essential: Previous experience in commodities trading or similar financially based institutions

·  Proficiency in JavaScript (Es6 & Esnext), HTML5, and CSS3.

·  Experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., S3, ECS, Postgres).

·  Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming.

·  Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Postgres) and message queues (e.g., Kafka).
