Are you an experienced Litigator with a passion for handling claims? Our client, one of Scotland's leading personal injury solicitor firms, is seeking a skilled Claims Negotiator to join their team. With a commitment to providing exceptional service to their clients, our client processes thousands of claims each year. As a Claims Negotiator, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering a first-class claims handling service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a case load of claims independently, with minimal supervision.
Develop the ability to issue proceedings for motor accident cases.
Utilise an advanced Case Management system to process allocated claims.
Handle all new claims correspondence.
Establish liability and indemnity for each claim within your allocation.
Negotiate claims until conclusion, up to the point of a Hearing.
Maintain an effective diary regime to stay organised.
Refer any claim to the appropriate Team Manager if its nature changes or deteriorates.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills Required:
Previous experience in issuing proceedings for Road Traffic Accidents (RTA's).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to different styles.
Strong planning and prioritisation abilities, with the capacity to meet deadlines.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to build relationships and gain the respect of colleagues.
Proficiency in computer literacy and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Supervision and training will be provided by your Team Manager and Assistant Claims Manager.
