Job Description
The Security Officer is entrusted with the essential responsibility of maintaining the highest level of security within the Hotel premises at all times. This role demands unwavering vigilance and strict adherence to established protocols.
· Rigorously enforce and comply with all policies, procedures, rules, and regulations as stipulated by Accor and the Hotel to ensure optimal uniformity and guest service.
· Report directly to the Assistant Safety and Security Manager / Safety & Security Manager, maintaining a clear chain of command.
· Assume full responsibility for the protection of all guests, patrons, employees, and their belongings, treating this duty with the utmost seriousness.
· Vigilantly safeguard all Hotel property, ensuring its protection at all times.
· Assume command of Hotel Security during assigned duty hours, exercising authority with discretion and professionalism.
· Meticulously secure all hotel properties, staff, and clientele in strict accordance with the procedures outlined in the security manual.
· Enforce the Hotel's Rules and Regulations with unwavering consistency and impartiality.
· Diligently implement the Accor Vision and demonstrate active adherence to the Accor Values in all aspects of the role.
· Maintain a comprehensive and accurate record of all significant incidents and activities in the logbook during shifts, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
· Handle all Lost and Found properties with utmost care and precision, recording them in the Security Management System, promptly transferring non-valuables to the Housekeeping Department, and keeping the Duty Manager informed at all times.
· Maintain a meticulous Hotel Logbook, documenting all incidents and complaints, and referring them to the appropriate department for follow-up action when necessary, ensuring a seamless flow of critical information.
Qualifications
· Proven 1-2 years of experience as a security officer
· Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
· Familiarity with report writing
· Excellent surveillance and observation skills
· Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
· Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense
· Possess SSO certificate
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Singapore. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization documents.
