Job Description
SO/ Sotogrande, a luxurious resort located in the beautiful Sotogrande, Spain, is seeking a friendly and professional Spa Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our spa guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and relaxing experience for all visitors.
· Greet and welcome spa guests with a warm and professional demeanor
· Manage spa bookings, appointments, and scheduling using our booking software
· Provide detailed information about spa treatments, services, and packages to guests
· Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
· Maintain a clean and organized reception area
· Assist with spa inventory management and restocking supplies
· Collaborate with spa therapists and other team members to ensure smooth operations
· Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and efficiently
· Promote spa services and products to enhance guest experience and drive sales
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
· Assist with administrative tasks such as report generation and filing
Qualifications
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and empathetic approach
· Proficiency in booking and scheduling software
· Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office suite
· Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
· Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
· Problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations professionally
· Experience with cash handling and POS systems
· Previous experience in spa, hospitality, or customer service roles preferred
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Additional certifications in hospitality or spa management a plus
· Knowledge of spa treatments and services preferred
· Familiarity with luxury hospitality standards
· Fluency in English and Spanish required, other languages is a plus
· Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed
