Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Mixologist to join our team in Miri, Malaysia. As a key member of our bar staff, you will craft exceptional cocktails, provide outstanding customer service, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
· Create and prepare innovative cocktails using a variety of spirits, mixers, and fresh ingredients
· Develop signature drinks and seasonal cocktail menus to keep our offerings fresh and exciting
· Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, making recommendations, and ensuring their satisfaction
· Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
· Collaborate with kitchen staff to create complementary food and drink pairings
· Train and mentor junior bar staff on mixology techniques and customer service standards
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new ideas into our drink offerings
· Ensure compliance with local liquor laws and responsible service practices
· Manage inventory, place orders, and maintain relationships with suppliers
· Assist in organizing and executing special events and promotions
Qualifications
· Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mixologist or in a similar role
· Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes
· Creativity and passion for developing unique, signature drinks
· Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
· Proficiency in time management and multitasking
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
· Ability to train and mentor junior staff members
· Awareness of current industry trends and mixology techniques
· Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
