Job Description
The Director of Marketing is responsible for initiating, planning, directing, and managing the implementation of the hotel’s Marketing strategy.
The Director of Marketing oversees and leads all aspects of the hotel’s distribution and marketing strategy, promotions, communications, and public relations, ensuring that the department’s annual budget is achieved and exceeded.
They work to position the hotel and its facilities as an attractive destination by developing brand awareness and partnerships to increase the hotel’s visibility and maximize all visibility opportunities.
They possess strong local knowledge, remain aware of the competition, market trends, luxury hospitality, and customer needs, enabling them to be proactive and adaptable through a solid network of contacts within the luxury industry.
Job Description:

Development of the Hotel’s Marketing Plan and Distribution Strategy.
·
Preparation, development, and execution of the Hotel’s Budget and Marketing Objectives.
·
Identify business sources across all market segments and build strong relationships with them.
·
Identify additional potential business sources for the Hotel’s revenue and establish acquisition programs to maximize partnerships.
·
Lead and manage the Hotel’s marketing objectives, working closely with other hotel departments.
·
Analyze market changes and implement corrective programs and actions with the Marketing team.
·
Hold strategy and tactical discussions with the General Manager.
·
Develop a comprehensive digital campaign and photographic library to enhance the hotel’s and brand’s recognition.
·
Recruit, select, train, and motivate the team, fostering talent development and professional growth.
·
Monitor total production and adjust activities, budget, segment coverage, and priorities as needed to achieve the hotel’s objectives.
·
Organize events and invite key influencers to promote the hotel and its outlets.
·
Prepare performance reports, including monthly updates on actions implemented.
·
Develop active communication and close collaboration with Accor’s global Marketing team, luxury partners, and other sales and marketing partners to gain insights and support.

Execute online and offline campaigns to reach specific markets, along with any other programs or promotions that contribute to achieving the objectives outlined in the Hotel’s Marketing Plan.

Maintain a strong online and offline presence for the hotel in key markets.
·
Leverage expertise, prior experience, and professional contacts to implement joint initiatives with other Group properties.

Update guest and client profiles when preferences are identified, in order to personalize products and services, ensuring each stay is a memorable experience.

Be familiar with the brand’s sustainability ambitions and the hotel’s initiatives for resource and environmental care, sharing these actions with clients, and promoting carbon footprint calculations in MICE proposals.

Contribute to initiatives related to recycling and responsible waste management.
Qualifications
·
Knowledge of business, marketing, and market concepts.
·
Knowledge of market trends and competitor practices.
·
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Advertising, Marketing, or related field.
·
Postgraduate studies related to Marketing or Communication.
·
Advanced level of English – Knowledge of French.
