Job Description

This is an entry level position with an opportunity to be part of something bigger.

As a Kitchen Attendant / Kitchen Steward, you will work as part of a team to keep the hotel kitchens and washing up areas clean and tidy, with great opportunity to learn and expand your skills.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, have attention to detail, and have a passion for giving guests an exceptional experience.

What you will be doing:

·  Assisting with basic food preparation duties with opportunities to learn
·  Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitising of all surfaces
·  Keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction
·  Responsible operation of kitchen cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

·  Organized, safe-minded and a great team player
·  Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment
·  Understanding of food safety and hygiene (Basic Food Safety Certificate under Australian standards is an advantage)
