Job Description

As a housekeeping supervisor will responsible for providing consistent housekeeping service to guest rooms, balconies, bathrooms, restaurants, public areas and circulatory areas that meets the hotel’s standards of cleanliness and presentation, as well as :

·  Overseeing the daily operations of the entire operation (or specific functions) of the Housekeeping Department to maintain a consistent standard of cleanliness of all guest accommodation, public areas and other resort facilities in line with guest expectations.
·  Conducting thorough and detailed inspections of all vacant clean guest accommodation rooms prior to the arrival of incoming guests, ensuring all product specifications and standards have been met.
·  Advising Room Attendants of any work which has been completed below product specifications and standards and providing instruction and training where necessary to enable Room Attendants to meet these standards in daily operation.

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience

·  High school, college diploma or equivalent qualification
·  Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping or a related field
·  Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
·  Additional language skills and basic understanding of local languages are a plus
·  Strong knowledge of MS Excel & Word
·  Previous experience working in the 5 Star Resort in Maldives is an added advantage
