Job Description
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Golf & Membership Executive to join our dedicated Commercial Team in the Home of Golf. You will be responsible for driving Golf revenue, managing our golf events and our membership base.
An exciting role for a tenacious sales person with a love for the game and for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
· Exceed financial objectives and client expectations.
· Coordinate specific golf events as identified by the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Director of Golf.
· Develop business leads, new accounts, and clients using a variety of prospecting techniques, including cold calling, direct mail, trade shows, sales promotions, telemarketing, etc.
· Coordinate all aspects of client events and provide hotel departments with detailed information on all events.
· Adhere to all policies regarding space release to ensure an effective and profitable balance for corporate events, social events, and weddings.
· At the conclusion of each event, confer with the accounting department to ensure a detailed and complete final bill is sent.
· Manage key accounts.
· Achieve monthly activity and sales goals.
· Understand membership categories, sales processes, and new member enrolment procedures.
· Provide accurate and efficient responses to member and prospective member inquiries.
· Collaborate with Golf Operations and Food and Beverage departments to initiate, organize, and implement innovative events for club members.
· Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Director of Golf to develop new strategies for driving membership.
Qualifications
· Experience in a similar role is essential
· You must be knowledgeable and passionate about all things Golf
· Must be eligible to work in the UK
