Job Description

What you’ll do

We are looking for an experienced Gym Attendant to join the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Wellness Manager, the Gym Attendant will support the daily operations of the hotel’s fitness facility and contribute to the overall guest experience:

·  You’ll assist with the operations of the gym facilities, ensuring smooth and efficient daily functions to achieve overall guest satisfaction.
·  You’ll ensure an excellent fitness and guest experience by maintaining cleanliness and order in the gym and assisting guests with equipment and activities.
·  You’ll monitor gym equipment and report any issues for maintenance to ensure everything is in top condition.
·  You’ll help implement gym-related activities and wellness programs to enhance guest engagement and fitness experiences.
·  You’ll maintain inventory control of gym equipment and supplies to ensure that stock levels are sufficient.
·  You’ll work closely with the team to support the overall health and wellness offerings of the hotel.
·  You’ll ensure the gym operates in compliance with health and safety regulations and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

What we are looking for...

·  +1 year of experience in a gym or fitness facility, preferably in hospitality.
·  Previous experience in a customer-facing role in luxury hotels or wellness environments.
·  Team player with a high level of energy and motivation with a proven track record of living the company's values.
·  A positive attitude and a passion for helping others achieve their wellness goals.
·  Knowledge of gym equipment, fitness trends and wellness practices.
·  Titles and expertise for activities that can be developed and offered to clients (Yoga, Pilates, Stretching, weight training, etc…)
·  Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail.
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English. Additional languages will be highly valuable.

·  You’re a strong team leader, a natural at managing and inspiring others in a way that gets the best out of them.
